Where You May Operate

Hotel Property & Adjacent Legal Roadways

Operation is permitted on hotel property and adjacent public roadways where Low-Speed Vehicles (LSVs) are legally allowed. Use of pedestrian walkways, sidewalks, or exceeding posted speed limits is strictly prohibited.

Designated Local Roads (35 MPH or Less)

Operation is permitted only on roads with posted speed limits of 35 MPH or less, where LSV use is allowed by local law.

Range Awareness

Estimated vehicle range is 20–25 miles per charge, depending on speed, passenger load, terrain, and driving habits. A charging cord is located beneath the rear flip seat and may be connected to a standard 110V outlet if needed during your rental period.

Prohibited Use

Highways & Roads Over 35 MPH

Operation on any roadway with a posted speed limit exceeding 35 MPH is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in citation, impoundment, and full renter liability.

Interstate, Freeway, or Expressway

Never permitted under any circumstances. Full liability applies.

Off-Road, Beach, or Unpaved Surfaces

Operation on sand, gravel, dirt, grass, mud, or any unimproved surface is prohibited. Mechanical or cosmetic damage resulting from off-road use is 100% renter responsibility.

Battery Depletion & Abandonment

Allowing the vehicle to drop below operational charge levels and abandoning it may result in a relocation fee of up to $325.00, plus any associated recovery costs.

Vehicle Limitations & Responsibilities

Maximum Speed: 25 MPH

The vehicle is electronically governed at 25 MPH. Tampering with or attempting to bypass speed limitations is strictly prohibited.

Passenger Capacity

Each vehicle is rated for 4 to 6 occupants (including the driver) depending on the model rented. Exceeding capacity immediately voids the rental agreement and insurance coverage. All seat belts must be worn. All traffic laws must be obeyed.

Zero Tolerance: Alcohol & Drugs

Operation under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, prescription medications, or any impairing substance is strictly prohibited. All DUI/DWI laws apply to Low-Speed Vehicles.

Weather Restrictions

Do not operate during lightning storms, heavy rain, flooding conditions, or sustained winds exceeding 30 MPH. The renter is responsible for monitoring weather conditions and returning the vehicle if conditions deteriorate.

Return Requirements & Late Fees

The vehicle must be returned to its designated parking stall and properly plugged in. Rentals more than 15 minutes past the scheduled return time will be charged a late fee at a per-minute rate (6-seater: $1.23/min · 4-seater: $0.92/min). Improper parking or failure to plug in incurs a $50–$200 fee depending on severity.

Driver Requirements

Renter must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver's license. License must be carried at all times while operating the vehicle.

Damage Liability

Renter is Fully Liable for All Damages

The renter is solely responsible for any and all damage to the vehicle occurring during the rental period, including but not limited to collision damage, scratches, dents, broken components, tire damage, and water damage. Pre-existing damage is documented at checkout via required photos. Any new damage identified at return is the renter's full financial responsibility.

Damage Charges & Security Hold

A $500 refundable security hold is placed at booking. If damage is identified upon return, repair costs will be assessed and charged to your card on file. Damage charges exceeding the $500 hold will be invoiced separately and are due within 7 days.

Citations, Fines & Card Authorization

45-Day Citation Window

Parking tickets, traffic citations, toll charges, or any fines issued against this vehicle during your rental period are your sole responsibility — regardless of when they are received. Citations are often mailed weeks after issuance. By completing this rental you authorize E3 Vehicles to charge your card on file for any such citations received within 45 days of your rental date, plus a $25 processing fee per citation.

Card on File Authorization

By completing this booking you expressly authorize E3 Vehicles to securely retain your payment method for up to 45 days following your rental for the purpose of charging any citations, fines, tolls, damage costs, or late fees incurred during your rental period. Your card details are stored securely via Stripe and will not be used for any other purpose.

I will not drive on any road with a speed limit over 35 MPH, including highways, expressways, or interstates.

I will not exceed 25 MPH and will observe all posted speed limits within the allowed zone.

I will carry no more than 4–6 passengers including myself at any time during this rental, based on what my vehicle is legally built for in accordance to designated seat belts.

I will not operate this vehicle under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, or any impairing substance. DUI/DWI laws apply.

I will return the vehicle to its designated stall and plug in the vehicle. I will not drive on public roads after dark.

I will not drive off-road, on beach sand, unpaved surfaces, or outside the designated service zone. GPS geofencing is active.

I will return the vehicle immediately if severe weather develops — lightning, heavy rain, flooding, or sustained winds over 30 MPH.

I understand that late returns incur a per-minute fee after a 15-minute grace period. 6-seater rate: $1.23/min · 4-seater rate: $0.92/min. These charges will be applied to my card on file.

I understand that violations may result in immediate rental termination, fee forfeiture, and personal liability for fines, damages, or injuries.

I am 18 years of age or older and hold a valid driver's license. I will not allow anyone under 18 to operate this vehicle.

I am fully liable for any and all damage to the vehicle that occurs during my rental period beyond pre-existing documented damage. Repair costs will be charged to my card on file.
